Indian vehicle manufacturer Mahindra and Mahindra recently made an announcement of their latest product, a compact SUV named the KUV100. While the company revealed that this new vehicle will be launched on the 15th of January next year, they have also confirmed that they have roped in Varun Dhawan as its brand ambassador.
The website of the KUV100 has been updated with several images of the Dilwale actor striking poses with the vehicle. It also features a small video montage of the same. Mahindra sees the KUV100 as a next generation vehicle that is targeted at the youth of today. The vehicle has sharp and edgy styling on the outside and design features such as black cladding on its lower perimeter, LED daytime running lights, a tailgate spoiler, a classy chrome rear door handle mounted on the window and more.
Power for the Mahindra KUV100 comes from a 1.2 litre, 82 bhp petrol engine or a 1.2 litre, 77 bhp diesel engine. The transmission will initially be only a 5 speed manual unit. Mahindra plans to offer an AMT automatic later on as well. features include an audio system with USB, aux-in and bluetooth support, a touchscreen, 3 abreast front seating, electric windows, air conditioning, alloy wheels and steering mounted controls, amongst others.
